Hello!

I wanted to thank you on behalf of my entire flock, but an especially BIG thank you from Aphrodite the Senegal. He has been an unhappy bird for years and we've tried just about everything to lighten his disposition, to no avail. Ruling out any material cause for his aggression, we finally accepted the fact that Aphro was just a mean spirited little bird.

Then my husband and I saw your flagstone perches at the Alex Fundraiser in Joliet in June. We'd never seen such things before, and were delighted to have won two of the two smaller ones (one for each of our Senegals) in the raffle.

Let me tell you, Aphrodite took all of a half hour to study the new ledge before stepping carefully onto it. His life changed for the better at that very moment.

Our other Senegal, Cosmo, likes to rest upon her ledge, too, but the difference in Aphrodite is amazing. His mood, his demeanor, the look in his eyes, even his feather condition have all improved dramatically. (Yesterday I found two molted feathers under his cage, both in perfect condition. It's been about nine years since he's molted a perfect feather ~ usually he destroys them before they fall out.)

We owe it all to you.

Since then I ordered a box of various sized ledges and gave them to all six of my dear birds.

My sweet old bonded cockatiel pair now spend their nights roosting together on their ledge.

Holly the CAG goes straight to one of the two I gave her when it's time to settle in for a nap. Only my shy CAG Indie hasn't yet warmed up to hers, but she will in her own time.

It's so good seeing my birds actually RELAX upon your wonderful flagstone perches.

P.S. I just ordered the climbing net for my greys. I can hardly wait until it gets here. I'll have nearly as much fun watching them play on it, as they will playing on it!
